Overview

WriteMaps helps web professionals plan websites with their clients quickly. It helps you create beautiful sitemaps and gather content in an organised way.

Small to medium web projects don’t have time to muck around when planning and defining project scope. Creating a sitemap in multi-purpose applications like Illustrator and Google Draw mean that you waste time drawing lines, boxes, and constantly resizing. WriteMaps is a sitemap specific tool which takes care of all the line, boxes, and resizing so that you get the visual sitemap output you want in much less time.

WriteMaps was created to provide a fast, fun, and easy way to plan websites.

While managing website projects, we need to understand what our clients want, and quickly. We need to understand the basic site structure, to have the client engaged in the process and to gather page content into a centralised place.

While individuals can use WriteMaps to map out their ideas, it’s really meant to quickly help iron out problems that web companies and designers and developers have with their clients in the scoping, planning, and content-gathering phases.

Full credit goes to the Founder of WriteMaps, Scott Jehl, and all the hard work he put into creating WriteMaps and helping it grow through it’s early years.
